Complaints and disputes

In a dispute the first question is not who is right but who can be asked to decide. This deserves a blunt answer: Biglucky operates under an international licence and there is no Finnish supervision. The Finnish gambling authority does not settle a dispute between a player and a foreign operator, and neither the consumer disputes board nor the competition and consumer authority resolves it on a player's behalf. That does not mean there is no route. It means the route is short and rests on whatever the player recorded.

Three steps, in order

StepAddressed toWhat it can deliver
1. Internal complaintThe operator's own complaints handling, in writingA reasoned answer; most cases end here
2. Dispute bodyThe ADR body named in the operator's termsReview under the rules of the licence, where such a body is named
3. Payment providerThe card issuer or payment service the money passed throughA view on one transaction, not on the account as a whole

Skipping a step rarely works. Steps two and three almost always begin by asking what the operator replied and when, so without the first step the case returns to where it started.

Writing the complaint itself

A complaint is a different document from a support message. It goes in writing, uses the word complaint, and lays out events in order. It carries the account email address, the date and time with the time zone, the amount in euros, the transaction or payment reference, and the clause being relied on. One closing sentence states what is being asked for: the payment released, the bonus restored, or the decision explained. Quick questions still belong in the ordinary channel described on the support page.

What has to exist before it is needed

In an offshore dispute the evidence is whatever the player saved. Four items cover most situations: a screenshot of the bonus terms on the day the bonus was accepted, a screenshot of the cashier transaction with its reference, the timestamp of the withdrawal request, and the whole correspondence in one folder with its case numbers. A chat transcript should be emailed to yourself before the window closes, because the window empties and the content cannot be recovered afterwards. Collecting these belongs to the routine of opening an account, as described on the registration page.

Three disputes and what really causes them

A withdrawal that does not move. Usually unfinished verification, a payout requested to a channel other than the one the deposit came from, or a payment method in another person's name. The stated one to two business days begin at document approval; the channel timings themselves are on the withdrawal page.

A voided bonus. Normally one line in the terms: a stake above the 5 € ceiling during wagering, a game contributing at a reduced rate, or a withdrawal before the 35x requirement was met. The detail is on the bonus terms page.

A restricted account. Typically a second account in the same household, an unanswered verification request, or a mismatch between the name on the account and the name on the payment method. Here the only useful content of a complaint is proof that the requested document was sent, and when.

What a licensed environment would add

The licensing system is scheduled to open in 2027, and on the basis of the preparatory work a licensed operator would come with a Finnish supervisor and Finnish jurisdiction. If the timetable holds, a dispute would then have a national address that does not exist today. That is a good reason to document dealings now: the history of a current account exists only in the form the player kept it in.

Common questions about disputes

Can the case go to a Finnish consumer body?
In practice no. Finnish consumer dispute bodies do not resolve disputes between a player and a company operating under a foreign gambling licence. The route runs through the operator's own handling and the dispute body attached to its licence.
Where are the ADR details found?
In the operator's own terms and footer. If no body is named there, it is not worth hunting for one elsewhere — this site does not publish licence numbers or body names it has not verified in the issuer's public register.
Should the bank be contacted directly?
Only after the operator has answered or has failed to answer within a reasonable time. A payment provider examines one transaction and takes no position on bonus terms or account closures.
How long should a complaint take?
Internal handling usually takes days rather than hours, counted in business days. If nothing arrives, send a reminder inside the same thread and quote the original case number so the review does not restart.
